GP Transco founder Gedas meets Dominic, owner of a small yet innovative carrier ZA Transport. The two decide to merge, with Dominic becoming CEO and Gedas serving as President

GP Transportation begins the development of their in-house transportation management system, OpenRoad TMS. Today, the system is at the core of our operation

A company-wide re-branding take place, and GP Transportation becomes GP Transco

GP Transco opens an office in Vilnius, Lithuania. Also GP Transco Logistics is born – an in-house brokerage.

GP Transco opens its California office. The company puts heavy emphasis on brand-building, social media, and public relations, starting to gain national recognition among drivers and customers alike

GP Transco now operates 400 trucks. Our trucks are now Teal, the company's signature color

We complete the construction of our new 40,000 square foot headquarters terminal in Joliet, IL and move in

GP Transco opens a support office in Medellín, Colombia

GP Transco now operates over 500 trucks and over 750 trailers, with 85% of the fleet being operated by company drivers, and over half of transported freight is contracted

We continue to strive towards innovation, safety, and efficiency, operative over 550 trucks and over 800 trailers, all managed via our in-house developed TMS system OpenRoad TMS.
